OFMQ Awarded 10-Year Contract to Promote Quality of Care in Federal Programs

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (September 13, 2018) – OFMQ, an Oklahoma City-based not-for-profit healthcare consulting company, has recently been selected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), as one of 31 awardees on a $1.6B healthcare quality evaluation contract. As part of CMS’ Measure and Instrument Development and Support (MIDS) contract, the Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) contract provides objective evaluation and promotes quality of care within Federal reporting programs.

“This is an exciting time for OFMQ,” said Gregg Koehn, Chief Executive Officer for OFMQ. “We are very proud to be a part of this opportunity and look forward to contributing our analytics and measures and evaluation experience in supporting evidence-based healthcare that improves lives for patients and their families.”

The MIDS IDIQ contract focuses on six quality priorities: safety; community health; caregiver- and individual-focused experience and outcomes; cost reduction and efficiency; care coordination; and clinical quality of care all in a variety of care settings. Among the contract awardees announced in August 2018, OFMQ joins the ranks with industry leaders such as The RAND Corporation, Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc, Mathematica, IMPAQ International, LLC, and Yale New Haven Health.
