People with Medicare have guaranteed rights, including the right to quality health care and the right to appeal some decisions about health care coverage.  As the Medicare quality improvement organization, Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality helps ensure health care providers deliver the best possible medical care and that beneficiaries recieve appropriate care they are entitled to. 

Our job includes reviewing concerns regarding care by a Medicare provider, including doctor, emergency room, hospital outpatient department, home health agency, skilled nuring facility, ambulatory surgery center and health maintenance organization (HMO).   We also process appeals about termination of service and coverage decisions.
