Celebrating Our MUVers!
October 21, 2011
OFMQHIT was pleased to welcome an exclusive group of Oklahoma HIT champions to our MUVers Awards Ceremony Oct. 21, 2011.
MUVers are 'Meaningful Use Vanguards,' meaning they have successfully implemented and are using a certified electronic health record (EHR) system, and are demonstrating positive technology impacts in their practice, their community and beyond.
The national MUVers program was created to honor and bring together clinician champions who have made the transition to EHRs and are successfully using their system as a clinical management tool.
Our Oklahoma MUVers were honored and recognized at the MUVers Awards Ceremony Oct. 21, 2011, at Pearl's Crabtown in Oklahoma City. The evening included dinner, door prizes (chance to win an iPad) and more. Each honoree was presented with a framed certificate recognizing their achievement. The keynote speaker was Robert H. Roswell, MD, Associate Dean, College of Medicine, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Congratulations to all our MUVers!
