OKLAHOMA FOUNDATION FOR MEDICAL QUALITY PROMOTES LISA WYNN HEALTHCARE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM DIRECTOR  

Lisa Wynn, MA, BSNOklahoma City, Ok. May, 2008 – Lisa Wynn, MA, BSN, was recently promoted to healthcare quality improvement program director for OFMQ. She is responsible for operational oversight of quality improvement programs offered to Oklahoma physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and home health agencies. Wynn is a healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in residency program management, healthcare quality improvement and research, and clinical informatics. An OFMQ employee for five years, she led the Doctors Office Quality-Information Technology (DOQ-IT) project, which helps physicians implement electronic health records (EHR) to improve patient care. Wynn is a nationally recognized leader in EHR implementation, adoption and use, and speaks to local, regional and national groups on clinical informatics and quality improvement topics.  She served on the American Nurses Association national workgroup that recently established the updated standards for nursing informatics practice. Wynn holds a Master of Arts in Quality and Data Management in Nursing from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia College, Milledgeville, GA.
