
Lisa Wynn, MA, BSN, was recently promoted to healthcare quality improvement program director for OFMQ. She is responsible for operational oversight of quality improvement programs offered to hospitals, physicians, nursing homes and home health agencies. Lisa is a healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in residency program management, healthcare quality improvement and research, and clinical informatics. An OFMQ employee for five years, she led the Doctors Office Quality-Information Technology (DOQ-IT) project, which earned excellent performance scores from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including the 4th highest ranking in the country and the highest customer satisfaction ranking. Lisa is a nationally recognized leader in the area of electronic health records (EHR) implementation, adoption and use, and she speaks to local, regional and national groups on clinical informatics and quality improvement topics. She served on the American Nurses Association national workgroup that recently established the updated standards for nursing informatics practice. Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Quality and Data Management in Nursing from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia College, Milledgeville, GA.
