Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality offers private consultation and contract services to help organizations promote health and quality health care. With 35 years’ experience in medical peer review and medical record review, we offer unmatched expertise to organizations that need a neutral, standards-based quality of care review. We review medical cases to determine if services meet professionally recognized standards of healthcare quality, are medically necessary, and are delivered in the most appropriate, cost-effective setting.

OFMQ is accredited by URAC and certified as an Independent Review Organization and an External Quality Review Organization. Our staff of medical records analysts, nurses and board-certified physicians performs reviews, and we have a 2,100-member network of physicians who may serve as consultants for review activities. Physician reviewers are in active practice, board certified and undergo OFMQ’s strict internal credentialing process.
