Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality is a mission-driven organization, dedicated to improving healthcare and improving lives. As the Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for the state, contracted through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), we work with health care providers to ensure that Oklahoma's Medicare beneficiaries receive the best possible care.
If you are one of the half-a-million Medicare beneficiaries in Oklahoma, or someone who cares for a patient, we urge you to be involved in your health care. We encourage you to seek preventive services -- many are paid for by Medicare -- to help you stay healthy and prevent life-threatening illness.
You should also be aware of your patient rights and options, because informed consumers make better choices about their health care.
