The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) provides online resources for Medicare beneficiaries and caregivers to find out about quality of care among health care providers, including nursing homes, home health agencies and hospitals.  These providers provide data to CMS on how well they perform in clinical areas that are important to Medicare beneficiaries and that Medicare has determined to be national priorites.  Today, anyone can go online and view performance information, compare performance among facilities and see how Oklahoma facilites compare to national performance.  The compare websites provide guidance on interpreting the information and choosing a care provider based on quality performance information.
