Oklahoma City, OK (March 2007) – Chisholm Middle School in Enid, Oklahoma recently received more than 55 computers with current software licenses, several printers and network and projection equipment as a gift from the Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality. The equipment is replacing old machines in the school’s computer lab, providing state-of-the-art technology to enhance teaching and learning at the school.
“We are finally at a place where teachers feel comfortable taking their classes to the lab since they know each child will have a computer and the computers will work when they get there,” said Shane Dent, Principal at Chisholm Middle School. “This investment in our school is paying immediate dividends.”
“As we change the technology used in our office, we are pleased to have the opportunity to help Chisholm Middle School improve educational opportunities for the students there,” said Jim Williams, president and CEO at OFMQ. “We were honored by the gratitude shown by the administrators and students at Chisholm.”
