Quality Improvement Specialist
Position assists in the development and implementation of quality improvement projects primarily in nursing home and hospital settings. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field is required. Clinical license and bachelor’s degree in a management or related field may be considered. Preference given to experience in leadership position and/or certification in related area. Quality improvement experience in healthcare settings strongly preferred. Ability to work independently is a requirement as this is a virtual position, working regionally, and requiring 60-80% travel statewide.
Healthcare Data Analyst
Develops appropriate fundamental statistical methods and tests for database system that analyzes claims/encounter data. Assists in development of reports, graphs and presentations. Master’s degree in statistics or biostatistics. Candidate must possess ability to identify issues and propose methodological solution, synthesize analyses, conduct and interpret analysis and effectively report findings. Must have a strong foundation in statistical methods, sampling and principles of research design. Strong skills in written and oral communication are necessary. Proficiency in PC applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, Internet, Statistical software (proficiency in SAS is a MUST), and graphic and presentation packages are required. Basic understanding of medical terminology and US health care delivery system is preferred.
Administrative Secretary
This position provides secretarial support to the Medicare contract operation areas and the executive personnel of the organization. Requires a minimum of three years general secretarial experience and six months experience or training in a Windows environment. Must be detailed oriented, able to work independently and handle multiple tasks with appropriate follow through. Ability to interact with a variety of staff members as well as outside organizations in a professional efficient manner. Excellent communication skills. Accurate typing and transcription skills are essential.
Medical Review Specialist
Great opportunity for 2 yr. RN, LPN or RHIA to abstract data and review medical records for appropriateness of services and quality of care. Experience with medical records review criteria strongly preferred, i.e., Interqual. Candidates must be detail oriented and able to work independently. Acute care and computer experience necessary. Paid weekend and holiday on-call may be required.
Communications Specialist
Works as part of a team to coordinate and implement communication projects. Areas of responsibility include support for public relations, special events planning and coordination, branding, development of marketing resource materials and customer communications. Strong writing/editing skills required, basic layout and design, including web design a plus. Bachelor's degree in marketing or related discipline required. Healthcare experience a plus.
