Community challenges require community solutions.
Medicare has made it a priority to engage communities to find answers to some of today’s toughest healthcare problems. Through our Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) program, OFMQ is helping to build communities around common healthcare quality improvement goals, such as improving care for patients as they transition from one setting of care to another, and helping communities develop strategies to motivate healthier lifestyle choices, such as smoking cessation.
In partnership with many Oklahoma organizations, providers and groups who share our passion for improving health in Oklahoma, we are making progress.
We are forming regional and statewide Learning and Action Networks (LAN) to support community building and knowledge sharing. We will hold many face-to-face and virtual learning and networking opportunities, and all improvers are welcome.
Watch our events calendar and attend any of a number of upcoming LAN events.
