Changing the Course of Health Care in Oklahoma

Changing the Course of Health Care In Oklahoma

OFMQ and health care providers across Oklahoma are embarking on a new voyage to improve health care quality and patient safety.

In August 2008, Medicare’s Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) program officially launched a new three-year program cycle, known as the 9th Scope of Work (SOW). The QIO program calls us to focus our work in three important national priority themes: Patient Safety, Prevention and Beneficiary Protection. Read the QIO program priorities.

We are inviting a select group of hospitals, nursing homes and physician practices to come aboard with us as we work together to change the course of health care in Oklahoma.
